Check in time is from 2.30pm everyday.
If you arrive early you maybe lucky, as your bedroom maybe ready.
Otherwise, we have a luggage hold at reception where you can store your belongings until the bedroom is ready for you. You can at your leisure then reurn and take your belongings or one of our staff will place them in your bedroom when the room is completed.
Check out is by 11.00am everyday, unless a later time has been agreed with the management.
If you are not leaving Deal until later in the day - You are welcome to leave your belongings in our hold until later in the day and collected at a time suitable for yourselves.

Guest guarantee credit card booking
Every guest making a reservation at the Waterfront Hotel, Deal, Kent has to make a deposit of 40% of the total amount to confirm the reservation. The deposit can only be paid by credit / debit card.
The rest of the amount shall be charged from the credit card 3 business days prior to arrival at the Waterfront Hotel, Deal, Kent.
Cancellation / No-Show Policy: 
Guarantee by credit card: The guest is allowed to modify / cancel the reservation by email or phone at least 7 days prior to the arrival date - no cancellation fees apply and a refund of the total amount shall be granted. At least 5 days prior to the arrival date - 70% refund of the total amount shall be granted. At least 48 hours prior to the arrival date - 30% refund of the total amount shall be granted. If the time for cancelling without penalty has passed, the forfeiture amount will be 100%. The refund policy is based on the total amount of the stay, not on the prepaid 40% to confirm reservation. In case of proved deaths or accidents, a refund may be granted at the General Manager’s and / or Front Office Manager’s discretion.
Sadly we have stopped allowing pets stay at our hotel, due to the constant damage caused to our furniture and linen.
We love animals and loved having the majority stay with us, but recently owners have not followed our simple procedures.
It has become costly having to replace linen and damage done to our bedrooms.







No, sadly - Very few hotels have parking facilities in the area, but there are several close bye.
The nearest is just seconds to the rear of our hotel.
The cost is £1.60p per hour, between the hours of 9.00am and 6.00pm (Same charges apply on Sundays).
If you desire a lay in the following morning, you can pay monies into the parking machine after 6.00pm the previous evening - This will allow you up to 3 hours the following morning.

We provide maps of these parking area's at reception or you can e mail us and we'll happily send a copy through to you.

If you do not intend to use your car whilst visiting Deal or rarley use it, you can park in Deal's railway station car park (Opposite Sansbury's Supermarket /Deal municipal car park), as the rate here all day is very reasonable.

Surprisingly, there is 'free' parking on the seafront.
If you drive just 2 minutes along the seafront ( heading towards Sandwich Bay - Away from Dover ), past our hotel and the royal hotel, you'll be able to park (after approx. 7 parking bays - close to public shelter ).

8 minutes to walk back to the Waterfront Hotel.

We have 2 Quad rooms with a double bed and adult bunk bed (Rooms 6 and 14).
We also have a triple room which consists of a double bed and a single bed (Room 16).
We have 2 cots available on request and 2 high chairs for use in the dinning room.

*We offer a children's menu with drink included in our cafe / restaurant.
  We can normally rustle up some thing for the little ones to eat if there's nothing     they fancy off our menu's too !

All our bedrooms are en suite, except 2 that are at present offered as 'budget' rooms (7 & 8 ),  - which consist of the basics i.e. beds and wash hand basins. There are several bath/shower rooms on both floors which are for the use of these budget rooms.

Although basic, they both have superb sea views and were recently decorated to a very good standard and are of course very good value...

Please keep this in mind when booking these room
